Charles W. Fox papers 1859-1879

Thirteen bound handwritten volumes dealing with the businesses and societies that Fox was involved in. Represented are the Franklin Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), including a cash book (1873), tithing records (1859-1865, 1870-1871), and an account book (1877); the Franklin Cooperative Mercantile Institution, including work records (1868-1874), account book (1869), and a cash book (1873); and a personal diary of daily farm routine and church service (1865-1867). Four folders hold receipts, legal papers, and some miscellaneous personal items. Also included are some home remedies and folk medicine recipes.
